Tonight I went to go see Titanic 3D, with my family and man was I in a emotional roller coaster. I first watched this movie when I was about 6 or 7, and fell in love since, but as I got older, I learned to appreciate it even more. The whole concept of the movie, from the script, to the costumes, to the WONDERFUL actors, just simply destined this movie to all star, oscar winning status. I’m just really happy I had the chance to see it in theatres, even though I have it in VHS, yes I said VHS (die hard fan here), because I had the opportunity to reflect and remember why I love the movie so much. From the love story of Jack and Rose, a girl’s dream (and mine), to the beautiful scenery and realism, AND to the lessons taught, such as knowing that there’s ALWAYS a way out and no one but yourself can free yourself. Titanic is simply EPIC. Big ups to Mr. James Cameron aka genius, team canada! AND Leo, for playing an admirable Jack and Kate as well, forever two of my favourite actors.
